Hello Strength Squad!

After careful consideration, the decision has been made to stop training at Drake Fitness. Today's clients trained on Folly Beach with minimal equipment, lots of fresh air, a peak of sunshine, and a handful of raindrops. They left feeling energized and refreshed, which is my hope for what everyone will be able to experience, My goal remains the same: helping you to feel calm, strong, and grounded. Our collective goal is to continue to flatten the curve to minimize the global and local COVID-19 impact.

There are three options for training: 1) One-on-One In-Person Sessions, 2) Virtual Sessions, and 3) Online Programming via the True Coach app. More details about these options are listed below.

We will plan week-by-week as decisions will be made based on CDC recommendations and local and federal government mandates. The late cancellation policy will continue to be waived. If you don't feel well, someone you've spent time with doesn't feel well, or you're just not comfortable training that day - please cancel.

This week, sessions will either take place on Folly Beach at 3rd block east or in my yard. On Folly, there is typically ample street parking and also a paid parking lot. For my home, you can park in my driveway.

All sessions will be 45 minutes to minimize contact between clients. If we're meeting on Folly and you want to come early, walking from 3rd block to the Pier and back is a great way to warm-up.

All sessions will be equipment-free. Please bring a mat or towel. If you'd like to bring equipment that you have available, let me know what you're bringing and I'll plan accordingly.


If you're interested in virtual sessions, we can either FaceTime or use Skype. Book your session as you typically do and let me know that it will be virtual in the note.

Sessions will be 45-minutes in length. If you are a current client, warm-up prior to the session start and we will get in a full 45 minutes. If you are a new client, I will teach the warm-up during the first several minutes of your session.

Provide a list of your equipment and I will plan accordingly - we can do a lot with no equipment, so don't worry if you're only options are cans of soup, a chair, and a broom.


Using the True Coach app, personalized sessions are available for you based on the equipment and space that you have.Video tutorials as well as written descriptions of exercises are loaded into your workouts to make sure that you are confident during your sessions. Also, you can send videos to me for form checks and track your reps, sets, and resistance.

Plans include 2-5 days of training based on your preferences.

With the Social Distancing plan, you'll receive three weeks of training for an investment of $180.
